I too have been researching cams. I don't think I wouldn't use 272 unless I had a heavily modified 2.3 or a 2.5 and used it on the track. The 272 will give you alot of high end but you will loose low end...thats why I say it is at home on the track cause it is best in conditions were the engine is constantly near the red line. I think I'm gonna get the Evo II (264) becuase it gives a significant gain in high end but next to no loss in low end. I think I'm gonna get the Evo cam gear too to get the best acceleration out of my car. Dick Chaing from Dyno Spot Racing says that for best acceleration use the 264 cam and evo cam gear. This will also make the car much more driveable. Does anyone know if I will need motorsport valve springs for the 264 cam?? thanks

cams, are you refering to the intake cam? why do u not change the exhaust cam? what is a good price for this cam?
