I know our cars aren't common, but I think it just cleans up the front of the car a little bit. Sometimes i look at the front and think there are too many colors. I got the clear turn signals and euro tow hook covers...that cleaned it up a lot, but I think the black kidney grill would help finish the look. It goes better with all the black trim on the car. As opposed to the chrome trim others E30's have
