Interested in finding a supplier or manufacturer who sells catalytic converter "test" pipes for my U.S. spec '91 e30 M3. Of course, I'll only use it for racing purposes...

Anyone tried &/or seen these on other e30 M3s? Any noticeable performance gain or is the car just louder?

Performance improvement is my goal without having an obtrusively loud exhaust note. I used to run these on my VW GTI's back in college, but I have not found anything other than Euro headers for the e30 M3.

The car has 48k mileage, Dinan chip, UUC short shifter, & cross-drilled rotors. Otherwise all is stock. New muffler was put on car shortly before I purchased, so I don't see the need to spend $ on a new TriFlow/SuperSprint/Remus muffler from cat back just yet...

Comments & suggestions appreciated.
