Do all of the e30 M3 cars upon startup blink the "check" light in the center console like mine. It will do it on every start until the brake is pressed. I am just curious if there might be a problem somewhere because my Girl friends 89 325is does not do this.

Eric, it's not just E30's that do this either, E28's and I'm not too sure but possibly E34's do it as well. Your car is fine, your girlfriend's is broken. :-P
