I'm trying to get some insight into the performance of Brembo 4pot calipers on E30 M3's? Are they likely to be the best brake set-up for fast road/occasional track use, or am I just as well off using aftermarket pads and discs for this application? Are there any negative factors that I should consider b4 shelling out the cash?

for mostly street, sloted are better INMO. cross drilled are great for the track where brake temps are high, but in street driving the cross drilled don't really warm up to their potential giving you less performace. Now if you are calling street driving on Muhalland drive, your talking a different story!
