engine oil light happy thanksgiving all (archive)

just got my E30 back from the detailers yesterday. this morning the engine oil light came on after 15 minutes of running. i shut it down, & checked the oil. there was plenty
of oil on the stick. anyone else experience this before? must have gotten some h20 in the sending unit is all i can think. it sure isn't that the oil is low.
