thanks for the notice of interest in the rust area's!

on the rust subject! my car lights were left on last night and my car battery was dead this morning! i went to use my trusty backup battery and i noticed that there is some water in the battery comparment! the shield that the battery is resting on has water in the gruves! is this normal? what can i do to dry it out? is there a drain plug? please let me know so i can address this when i get off of work tonight!


If you dont want draining the battery compartment to become a frequent occurance you will need to replace the gasket that goes around the tail light assembly. I had to do mine for the same problem. I think that they were about $28 for OEM dealer part.
