Guys, I'm not sure what the hose is called (maybe a heater bypass hose)but, there is a little $4 hose bellow the alternator connecting to the water pump to a steel tube that runs along the side of the engine block. check for a leak there. Mine had crack in it and would leak very slowly letting me smell coolant every now and then..


I was wondering it smells like coolant a little bit when I turn the heater on but then the smell goes away!! No steaming on windsheild or leaking!!
