I installed a carbon fiber hood on his 318ti last month. You don't need any pins if the hood is designed right, all stock parts should fit right in. I wouldn;t paint it if you have a black car. It matches up and looks pretty good on a black car. If you go to the e36 m3 board ans ask him, he knows a guy that makes them for the e30 m3. Hope that helps
