The boxter is lighter than the E36 or 46 M3, around 2850 lbs, I believe. Also lighter than the Porsche. I agree that the soft top is not so cool on a sports car. But I keep hearing the same phrases pop up in the reviews of the two cars. For example, the word "go-cart" keeps comming up.
