Just yesterday noticed an audible tic,tic,tic noise which seems to be coming from the front of the engine(to my uneducated ear)on my 80k mi 90 M3. It lessens as rpms increase. Any idea what I'm in for??

Mike worth getting a professional opinion as a timing chain letting go will turn a large bill into a very large bill. Have you checked your valve clearances recently ?
