Regarding inside wear, how much camber do you have dialed in? Basically, all M3's will exhibit greater inside tire wear do to the camber settings.

Regarding your instrument panel and head lights, it does sound like the voltage regulator. Be sure to check your cable connections also.

I am getting major wear on the inside edges of both front tires. Replaced control arms, struts and strut mounts over the last year. The car tracks straight and I didn't have this problem with the first set of tires. Is this normal or is the toe way off?
Second question: When the car is idling and then I give it some gas the headlights and dash lights brighten up. Is this indicative of a bad battery, voltage regulator or alternator? Or is this normal? Thanks in advance.
