I have my exhaust headers ready to remove from my engine compartment. How does one snake it through to remove it? Does the sway bar need to be removed & the car up on jack stands?

the last time I did it I just removed the brackets to the swaybar and let it hang down.
If you need more room you can loosen the motor mount and jack the engine up about 1" or you can remove the two bolts that hold the right side lower control arm to the body (where the rear control arm bushings are located). I was replacing other parts at the time so I can't remember if you need to remove anything other than the swaybar brackets. make sure you get the car way up in the air, you will need the room to get the header out. I did it on a lift at work and it was kind of a pain the a.. , you need to get at the header flange from various angles to get the nut's off and back on.
hope this helps,
