I need this done soon, how much do mechanics charge.
I did this job myself recently its not as daunting as it looks, once the plenum chamber is off there is a lot of room.
Only two not so easy jobs on this is the little water pipe (flexible) get a new one at the same time and the holding bolt at the same end as this pipe (open ended wrench (torx) or the better uniball snap on universal joint is needed to get this one undone. The job looks far more awkward to do than it is.Just start at the plenum and work your way slowly in
You will need a 'speacial tool' to undo the nuts and bolts holding the inlet gaskets on to the head and manifold face it is a female 8mm torx or spline socket, most have male in their tool box and they are difficult to find so get one first !
