Thanks guys for the info. Mike, I'll definately look into the E30 M3 SIG. Adwo, what are the ETW parts CD-roms?

Unfortunately, I do not have one of the special edition Evo models, but I do have one of the 1991 model year E30 M3s imported to the U.S.

As I understand it, I have one of only 300 of these (last year) cars imported to the U.S. I'm trying to determine which car I have since it wasn't titled by its original owner (I'm owner #2) until mid-1992, so I'm thinking that I could have one of the last ones imported and sold in the U.S.

Thanks again for the info!

Buy the ETK parts CD-rom. The VIN's for all special versions (Evo 1, 2, Cecotto and Sport Evo) are all on the CD-rom.

Also, you can find the production date of any car by punching in the VIN, selecting a part and hitting 'F'. It will appear for about 6 seconds in the bottom of the screen.

The ETK cd-rom is the parts catalog on CD-rom for your BMW. It contains all BMW models up till 1990, including the E30 M3. $40 at your BMW dealer. It's officially called the Mobile Tradition parts catalog.
