doesent it look like there is a bigger-then-normal gap there on the hood?

or is that normal. some other m3 fotos look similar. but never that drastic.


every factory panel has the id # on it unless it was changed , if it was changed it will be a black sticker with larger letters "DOTR" for depapartment of transpotation replacement .an original part will have the black sticker with the full id # and a bmw logo on it . on the fender it is on the lip under the hood area , the hood one is either in the hood upper right or lower right on the underside obviosly . check for a factory weld at the radiator support where it mounts to the inner steel fender well .also it could just be the picture hope this helps .
