Over the Christmas hols I have done two 200 mile journeys to my home town and back. On just a couple of occassions only I felt the car jerking a bit at low rpms when under light acceleration(say about 2000rpm or a bit less and with slight pressure on throttle).
Any ideas on this guys? I am going to start by trying a different grade of fuel. I mostly use super unleaded but recently filled up with premium unleaded twice instead and I`m wondering if it is tuned to use the super unleaded fuel.
About 2 months ago I had to have a new *brain* fitted to the car and maybe some extra tuning wasn`t done properly or something when that was fitted? Just before the ecu was fitted it had an Inspection 2 and all was fine with that.
Like I said I have only noticed it on a few occassions so far, but just wondering what it could be.

Part throttle performance sounds like ignition probs, I would :
Let the engine idle when it is dark and the bonnet is up and look for blu sparks and ticking from the leads. also have a screw driver and brush the blade along the leas touching the cam cover this will encourage the leaking spark if it is there.
Secondly buy a new set of plugs (My guess is it is plugs, probably combined with shit fuel)
Thirdly try a tank of Super I run mine on super and it does run better and feel crisper, but it doesn't miss on 95 Octane
