Ken,
Be sure you check the trunk, the little guys can find all kinds of ways to get in. I use a "car jacket", it's one of the best investments I've made for storing my 88m3. Use a soft cover under it, make sure the car is dry and leave the windows cracked about an inch. Good luck,

Thanks for the info - I have been checking the trunk and interior periodically as well, since I don't put any mothballs in there. No sign of any mice so far...

I took a look at the CarJacket and it looks like it's along the lines of what I wanted to make with a tarp and my car cover. Using dessicant is probably a good idea, even though my cover is breathable.
