I am still collecting parts for my e30 V8 install (I have the engine and tranny).
I am still torn between doing a e30 M3 or using a standard e30 2 dr. The advantage of the standard e30 they are cheap, very easy to come by and have the ultimate sleeper looks, but using a M3 allows me to run a larger wheel/tire combo and they do look cool. It is a bummer that even a junker M3 still pulls $5K.

If I go the standard e30 route, I am looking into in a full e36 M3 front suspension and subframe so I get the quicker ratio steering and updated parts, 5 bolt wheels, bigger brakes... I will probably do the later e36 M3 rear suspension too. Yes, I know it will require some considerable fabrication.

Wish me luck.
