I am asking this because i am not familiar with the cost of metal fabrication. The cost of the turner reinforcements seems a little high for what they are. Could i not get similiar mounting brackets made for less? Or simply weld an extension and a piece at a right angle, with holes drilled into it myself? It seems to me that the idea is to transfer some of the stress on the mounting points to the additional mounting areas up through the trunk. The front reiforcements are no prob., but i want a better solution for the rear. Any ideas?

EdZ,
I never look at that area when i replace
my end link and bushing but I did replace the bracket that tie down the sway bar link to the car
i fabricated my own and it's the exact copy
of the original except mine was made of 11ga.
material compare with the whimpy 18ga. the factory
used.I have a few of these bracket left.
if you are interested for mearly the price of what
I paid for having it laser cut and powdercoated
I can sell you the remaining set for $15.00 plus
the cost of shiping it to you.
