I'm no expert but I have never seen stock 16" wheels on a US E30 M3 nor have I ever heard of such a thing. I don't think they offered them here.

I also have a 1990 M3 and I have not seen any reference to 16 inch wheels in the owner's manual or on the plate with tire pressure information. Usually this info is there if the car is available with different wheel sizes.


I need some evidence to show to the track commission. so they let me use 16" rims. Any book or literature that I can get.
