I was the first car to arrive a little after 11:AM. Beautiful day down there on the beach. I brought my 3 year old daughter and we played in the sand until the SD crew showed up around noon. Cars there: A few A4's including a nice silver S4, one E39 M5, a white E46 with some nice MVR wheels on it, a low, low Dakar Yellow E36 M3 with nice 18" Hamman's (and a real bad sounding exhaust - sorry if the owner's reading this!). And just before I left another E36 M3 showed up with some awesome full polished Kinesis K28's - damn those are the wheels I want! Anyway, we sure could have used a few more E30 M3s there! I didn't go on to the car show afterwards as I took off from work on Thursday to go - the crowds there are just too crazy on the weekends.
I was planning on going but at the last minute decided not to because it was the only time I could finally install my strut brace and sway bars. I will try to make it to the next meeting.
Yeah I got the ST swaybars, with reinforced and welded mounts. The car is totally different, the damn thing feels like it's riding on rails now. The ride is harsher and a bit noisy but the handling is wonderful. I have a spare Sparco strut brace...interested?
