You could use red ones, but Bosch part # 1 120 323 001 are said to be better. As for the water in your trunk, check to the right of the battery and there will be a plastic piece attached to the body, there is a hose/tube that connects to it in the front, make sure that this tube is hooked up and going into the drain piece.
