I am in the process of replacing my tie rods but i can't get them off. I am having trouble removing the inner part,,,the part attached to the steering rack thing. It's the end that has the bolt protruding out which bolts to the steering rack. I can't seem to unscrew it....any advice?
Notice on the flats where you are putting the wrench,there may be locking tabs bent over on the joint.Take a screw driver or chisel and bend them back.
