I guess that's good... DynoSpot was reporting 30ish HP which sounds great but is way above what you're reporting.
Anyhow, I'm more interested in how the car drives since the MAF conversion will be a foundation in the steps towards better breathing. My S14 is currently stock except for a Dinan chip and SuperSprint header back exhaust (which should be acquired shortly).
I'm looking to having the right components for an eventual build of a monster 2.5L.
I'm sure that the gains from the MAF will increase as the S14 breathes better with mods like headwork, cams, header, and displacement.
Hey Kevin...your car looks great...and how in the world did you fit those 18inch wheels...those are awesome...is the street drive pretty harsh?
The MAF is not as smooth as stock, and that is where the fine tuning comes in, When i get WOT, i can feel it start to spool and then it takes off, and then i can feel it doesnt pull hard enough, as for stock, it just pulls consistently.
It revs a whole lot faster...especially with the lightweight flywheel.
A buddy of mine drove my car and said you can feel it push you to the back of the seat...and he drove a race car with the alpha-N and mine was faster.
My butt dyno is way off...i just sat in my friend's m3 and thought his was way too quick, and his dyno numbers were 13hp lower than mine.
Well, i will truly find out how this MAF work for me, i will be attending a driver school this weekend, with a bunch of NSXs and S2000s...and a few e36m3s.
later
