I went through my credit union 3 years ago and they would have financed up to $18,000. The interest rate was relatively low for a used car. It didn't cost quite that much. I do have excellent credit and a good job though but I think that if I just had decent credit and made enough to meet the payments they would have given me the loan. I've been with this credit union for a long time.
