Heat it slowly to avoid cracking anything. Don't heat the blazes out of the thing but get it hot/very hot to the touch. Who cares if you scorch the fluid--it's coming out! Use a 3/8" breaker bar (about $20 from Sears) and a good 10mm allen socket. Sears sells the Lisle brand for about $25 for a set from 3mm-10mm. I haven't broken one, yet! Once you get the plug broken loose, let everything cool down to reasonable temperature!!! then remove the other plug to drain the fluid.

If that doesn't work, get youself a new diff cover. You can get the M-Coupe cover complete with bolts, gasket, and new diff bushing for about $140-150. You'd also need to get a new fill plug, and 2 new washers because they don't come with them.
