I went to the stealer the other day to get new motor mounts. They wanted $128 after CCA discount! do any other motor mounts work for this car? M5 mounts?

you can use the mounts from an e34 535i p/n 11 81 1 139 019. They are more solid, reduce the vibration and lower the engine 1/2 in. some say they are equivalant to group N mounts for less (+ - $115) The transmission would need to be shimmed lowered and the bolt on the left side needs to be shortened so it dosen't hit the exhaust manifold....
I have not made this switch though
