Assuming that you are talking about the guages below the tach, my oil temperature guage functions properly, but I have had difficulties with the coolant temperature guage. I have cleaned the contacts on the coolant temperature sensor to no avail. I have yet to figure out which connection is intermittently failing.


I just bought a 1990 M3. The oil Pressure/ Temp gauge seems to be non-functional. I am not sure if this is a common problem with a sensor or something more. Any advice would be appreciated. JOE
