I just bought a 1990 M3. The oil Pressure/ Temp gauge seems to be non-functional. I am not sure if this is a common problem with a sensor or something more. Any advice would be appreciated. JOE

Joe,
One way of checking this would be, to unplug
the connection from the sensor and grounding
them to the engine. Your warning light on your dash should lit.Indicating you have a defective sensor, if it dont you have a a faulty connection somewhere between the sensor and the gauge. get your self a copy of wiring diagram. and trace all the connection. I'm sure there are others that regularly post here can come up with the wiring diagram any body please help as out here thanks.
good luck to you.
