That's enough for BMW to say that bimmer.org is capitalizing on their trademarks.

I think bimmer.org should accept "violating" submissions and then ask BMW for their permission to use them.

A BMW message board should ideally have a logo that identifies it with BMW. The best way to do that is with a recognizable BMW trademark or something similar like Lee's.

But other that that, you couln't really say it's an ///M Logo

He actually said the logo couldn't even resemble bmw tradmarks. That kind of sucks since that would make the best logo. It could be easily identified as BMW-related.
