115-130K the Motors start to go? What guru gave you that info? My car has almost 190K and the motor is still strong and I am the second owner. Dyno'd the car last year and pulled 169HP at the rear wheels... Good luck in your search...

Robert

Hey guys. I have been looking for a E30 M3 for about 1.5 yrs now. I am looking for one with 60-90k miles for around $12,000. I have seen them around but are a very rare find. Should I ignore those M3s with 110k-150k miles on the original motor. I have noticed that around 115k-130k the motors start to go. I dont want to buy a car for 12,000 and then turn around and put another 6500 into a new motor. What do you guys think about this?? Do you think I should just give up on a M3 and buy a E30 325is??
