Are the lamps for RHD different from the lamps for LHD or is it an internal adjustment to change the beam pattern? The car most likely will be going back to Ireland and I might just try to squeak by for a little longer with the RHD beams if there is a difference.
If they are different, will they fit an E30 as well? Then at least I could keep them as spares for the Sport Evo and buy some UK spec ones later.
Hope it doesn't snow again tomorrow...I'll have to trade the Evo for a Lancer Evo.
RHD lights are different from LHD lights. The left side low beam on a LHD car and the right side low beam on a RHD car have a lower beam cut-off than the opposite side to keep from blinding oncoming traffic. However, this is not true for most of us guys in the US who are cursed with the DOT mandated sealed beam headlights which project light no further than 5 feet in front of the car.
