Put the car on jackstands, then you just need to lift the engine with a floor jack and a piece of wood(2x4) to protect the oilpan. There is a heat shield on the exhaust side that needs to be taken off but thats it. Once the engine mount nuts are taken off you lift the engine up 1-2 inches and the mounts slide right out... about an hour to do it for the first time...


Tell us more about your process. Did you folow a reference manual for step by step instructions or just go for it? Did you do the trany mounts too?
