Maybe you should tell your customer (BMW 'Worldwide') to concentrate on selling cars, not worrying about software piracy. Leave that to people who make a living selling intellectual properties. Maybe if BMW NA(OH! So sorry, 'Worldwide') gave a flying f___ about the people who bought the majority of their parts from them(the people who have somewhat older, perhaps purpose built sports cars like the M3) they'd get a list a have some lackey like Mr. Kenwood fly around the world and hand deliver the etk cd to each and every owner. As for trying to scare people with E-mail;
try it, then come on down to Tucson AZ Mr. Kenwood and see if the local DA will take on the #1 private consumer of BMW parts in this whole county because I have one of their silly damn parts CD's. I would suggest to you my friend, they have a bit more pressing matters. You see, there is no profit motive here. Unlike stealing Windows' or Lotus, BMW 'Worldwide' can show no loss of profit because I have, copy, sell or distribute their etk cd. Not that I have done any of this, but proving an intent to defraud BMW 'Worldwide' out of a profit on something they don't make a profit at is a stretch even a dreamer like me can not make. Seems to me like the stupid bean counters ought to spend more time trying to deliver my new M3 than worry with this silly grade school bullshit. Have a great day :}
I've been needing to say that ever since I waited two weeks for the part I needed and it was the wrong one.
