My tires never come close to touching the metal fenders...just the plastic liners. Where is it contacting (top, front, back, etc.) and which way are your wheels turned?

I thought everyone just used baseball bats to roll their fenders. Then I saw this contraption. It's pretty neat.


I just had 235/40/17 put on my car all around (15mm spacers)and had my fenders rolled a little. But i've been having problems in the front. I didn't have the edges rolled all the way up and if i make a slow turn on a severe bump the tires hit the edge and bend it back out. This cracked some of my paint (very pissed BTW). I need to have the edges rolled flat instead. Looks like I'm going to have to repaint a couple of quarter panels this summer :(
