BAH! The car is just as fast with these new wheels. These are actually 1" smaler in diameter than the ones I took off. They were 25.7" and these are 24.6 up front and 24.7" in back. The M Contours might have added a pound or two per wheel, but certainly not enough to affect acceleration.

you are better off using smaller wheels. I drove my friends e30 with the stock wheels and then with the 17s. A dramatic difference. The car is really slow. bring both sets to autoX.
