babelfish.altavista.com says there is no translation for it but if I split it up like this: "lampen kontrll gerät", it translates as, "for lamps control turns out." Whatever it means, exactly, it is for the rear lamps.
Like I said before, those black and white connectors plug into it.
The factory amp is the much larger box with one square black connector to it.
HTH,
Jon
I went back and checked, and the factory amp was still connected to the all the wires. I followed around the wierd wires that I was asking about, and they lead to the tail lights. and now that my car is going crazy, I'm going to have to blame it on this little discovery. Here are my symptoms right now
I have right headlight high beam this happened saturday
on Friday, I lost my right front parking lights, and I'm assuming right tail lights too.
I also lost my dash lights, I'm assuming on friday as well.
now, I'm blowing a 15 amp fuse in slot number 23 (hsould be a 7.5amp) have any ideas on where to check for a short for this problem? this fuse covers these items:
Right parking lights and side marker and license plate lights, Dash lights, Check Control, Rear defogger
these are a lot of areas to be checking for a short, should I shoot straight for this as being the culprit?
thanks for all your help
Eric
