Travelling at 200-220 Km/h all day long is practical as well and it does feel very smooth.
yes, that ir right, SMOOTH. It is amazing how M3's are so rough at low speeds but everything comes together so nicely at high speeds!
I have also driven from UK to Greece the October of 1999 and during that trip I crossed France (carefully at the North, blasted through the south . . ) and then Monaco and Italy.
What I want to say to the people who haven't been there is the south of France and North of Italy are M-Heaven! Fast sweeping roars, tunnels bridges, and other 'fast' cars.
sorry for the rambling but I always remember this trip as one on of my best experiences! (OK, ignoring the fuel/toll bills!)
