you just have to be careful when i painted my car i left the trim on because when it is put back on the "grips" will scratch the paint where it contacts=rust eventually. my other e30 trim was taken off by prying it gently with a flat bar but it was a little loose to begin with. i would suggest leaving the trim it is very hard to tell that my car was painted.

I NEED TO SO THAT NEXT WEEK WHEN I GET SOME PAINT WORK DONE THEY DONT DO SOME CHEEP SHIT AND TAPE IT OFF!!
