Hi Chris.

A better alternative to the conversion utilizing Ford parts is to just purchase a 9006 Philips HID kit from Ebay for $480.00 and "plug and play". As far as I know, these kits just plug right in to your existing system with no modifications. You just have to securely mount the ballast. Do an Ebay search for Philips HID and you will see how common the kits are.

Take care.

I'm considering trying this since my lights just suck (I've got the ellipsoids, but they're still not too bright, the highs are great though). I'm curious if anyone has done this and if you have any advice, I wary of cutting up my lights. Also, did it make a noticeable improvement on lighting (not just "looks cool", I don't really care about that).

Finally, where'd you buy you're parts and how much did they cost roughly. People say they can be had for 400, although list is more like 550.

Thanks for any help,

Chris F.
