...I had your exact same problem. The body shop that replaced my drivers door left the trim from the donor door on! So I have silver paint under my window trim (henna car). I'm sure they didn't take the trim off because they would have had to buy all new trim. Now, if the bozos had simply ASKED me about it in the first place, I would have said, yes, go ahead and remove it and I'll pay for new pieces, but noooo....After I got my car back I replaced all the trim on that door myself because what was on there from the donor door was all scratched up - like they didn't think I would notice? Anyway, getting the stuff off is a bitch. I bent all three pieces removing them, so I just bought all new ones and new clips too, because these get bent as well. Fun!

I NEED TO SO THAT NEXT WEEK WHEN I GET SOME PAINT WORK DONE THEY DONT DO SOME CHEEP SHIT AND TAPE IT OFF!!
