This is what I did:
1 M10x1.5-50mm long bolt
2 M10x1.5 nuts
1 10mm washer.

I used electrical tape on the end of the bolt to damp out the metal on metal clicking of the cluth pedal on the bolt. It is a temp. fix but has worked so far. A more permanent fix would be to dip the bolt head into the rubber/plastic goop you put on the handles of pliers when the original plastic comes off (obviously, I cann't remember what the stuff is called but I got mine at Home Depot). Or you could get a rubber pad and glue it to the bolt head.
