I just had to see for myself what the M5 can do. I pulled on to the highway in third gear at about 4000 rpm(sitting at the power range). I had a gorgeous silver M5 in front of me...this old man wanted to race. As soon as we both cleared traffic we punched it......the M5 smoked so quick. It is amazing what 400 horses can do.....I can't wait to get an E46 M3 and pull up next to an M5....that should be a good match..................Peace
