When I realized the fan was not working I assumed it was the fan switch because I had just installed the wire repair kit less than six months ago. After installing the new switch the fan still dosent work. I tried using a jumper wire and when doing that kn the low setting you ca hear the fuse box making a little noise as if it was giving the fan some power but the fan dosent spin. Then when I switch the jumper wire to the high setting the fuse box makes the same noise and the fan begins to spin but only for about 1 second before the fuse blows. Could this be the fan itself or possibly a ground somewhere gone bad? Any help is greatly appriciated since summer is coming and the car will be needing the fan soon.
