There are some great roads here in Scotland too and maybe you're right I should get the M3 out on the twisty bits more.
Cheers
I know what you mean, sort of. On the autobahn it does get a bit boring spending all the time at 6000-7000 rpm in fifth.
But on little twisty roads what a load of fun. Today I was on some really nice rally roads and enjoyed myself immensely. Spent some time behind a reasonably well driven Clio Sport. Quite quick and it was interesting to compare the FWD vs RWD behaviour in the hairpins and slippy bits. I met the fellow driving the Clio later and told him that he had a nice fast car but that I had much more fun.
Remember the M3 was a rally car as well and won on the tarmac of Corsica.
