ON ENG.BLOCK THERE ARE THREE SEALING COVER OVER BY THE OIL HOUSING .IS IT HARD TO REPLACE AND HOW?

Sammy,
Hi there. when you refer to oil housing
I'm assuming you mean the oil filter housing.
if this is what your'e talking about. you can
buy a repair kit. and that will include a new
o-ring retainer, and a new plug. you will also
need a gasket for the oil filter housing it self
as you would have to remove the housing off the
block. to do the repair undo the two hose ftg.
off the filter housing of course you will have
to drain your oil and remove your filter. then
remove three m8 bolt that secure the housing to the engine block. and by the way remove the connection on the oil pressure sender and the temperature sender. the instalation is the reverse
of removal. goodluck to you. BTW i will post the part# of the kit and the gasket later as i have to look for the receipt.

thanks alot roger, but what i'm talking about is
like asize of half dollar.three are three of them
on the block i think they call theme freez-out plug but why oil leaks out of it?

sammyA

sammy,
I sugest that you clean the engine,
With gunk engine cleaner then run the car
and ovserve the freez plug. may be the oil is comming from somwhere above the freez plug
making its way there. coolant should be leaking
out of those plug if anything.

i clean the engine and that's were it's comes out
i know it should be coolant but why oil cames out?

sammy,
If your positive about that, I hate to be the one to tell you, this could be a sign of head gasket failure. I hope this is not the case.
