It might be a faulty thermometer warning you about (false) freezing temperatures. My German import 1990 E30 M3 does that.

Ok, I have yet to find out what the hell the soft beeping sound is for. When im driving this short beep sound will come on several times, other times I can drive forever and never hear it. Please if anyone has any ideas email me.
