Which is the best brand? What else, if anything needs to be modified? Thanks in advance JOE

ATL and Fuel Safe are two well-known, reputable brands. It is rather non-trivial to install a cell, and the others are right -- it will change the balance of your car. The stock location is hard to beat for a place to put the 90+ lbs of weight that 13 gallons of gas incur. And, from a rear-end-collision perspective, its a pretty good place, too. However, there are issues with the stock tank (starvation in high-g right turns, tendency to leak into the passenger compartment during rollovers -- BTDT) that can be addressed by a fuel cell. Location and type of fuel pump(s), filters, routing of return lines, breathers, building of the cage for the cell itself, protecting the cell from road debris, location and type of surge tank(s) -- all of these are decisions that need to be made. Contact a local race prep shop if you need further help.
