Understood, Don't get me wrong I love BMW's I just can't afford the upkeep of one right now (Only 24 years old so there's time). The Saab on the other hand has a lower maintenance cost than many other Euros available. So in short there is no need for a conversion, just time. Oh and I would never try to run an M3 in the winter. Thats what winter rats are for. My winter rat is a suzuki sidekick 4 door, I don't care if its hit or dies, just not before I get to where I'm going.

You should try driving a BMW. Rear wheel drive kicks ass, even in snow. I drove an M3 up a snowy mountain (6") before the snow plows went up there. All it has was Pirelli P190 snow tires on stock rims.

And any decent BMW will smoke a Saab on the track. Yes, some Saabs have turbos, and you can crank the boost for more power. I'll give you that. But if I wanted a $hitload of power, I'd buy a Trans Am or Corvette.

NO FLAMES meant, just stating my OPINIONS here.
